Testimonials

Here are a few unsolicited and unedited testimonials from the workshop:

"Hi Okello, After your class, my confidence level shot way up. Thanks to you I have a good handling on my camera from frame composition to camera setting for any situation. Taking your class is one of the best move I made to becoming a better photographer. Thanks!!"

Brinsly - Washington, DC

"Hi Okello!! Ive been meaning to write you! Thank you soooo much for the AMAZING class last Sat! My wedding went well--I was nervous for the 1st few hours so went into Auto mode, but by the end of the wedding I was in full Manual, and setting my own ISO as well! All thanks to you!! Please, please, please keep me informed on the next time you come to NYC--I feel like I could take the class all over again!!"

Bianca - New York, NY

"Just wanted to say thank you for a very good class. You provided basic information in a clear and easy to understand manner and even provided me with the "ah ha" moment that we all get once in a while! Because of your class I am now running around and shooting in manual and reading histograms and figuring out what to do if things dont look right! Thanks again so much! Now you need to start doing Part II classes!"

Lynda - New York, NY

"Thank you for sharing your expertise with us in Boston this weekend. I hope youll return sometime and teach some more classes- I really learned a lot today (and also added a lot of gear to my wish list!)"

Kelly - Boston, MA

I want to thank you for all I learned in your half-day seminar.... it really changed (for the better) the way I take photos now...have even won a contest). Your course was jam packed with great .."how tos"...and, thanks to you , I shoot only in "raw" now..what a differance this one thing has made. Also, I never shoot in "automatic"...another big lesson learned!

Boyd - Arlington, VA

F-A-B-U-L-O-U-S class on Sunday.  Jordan and I got so much out of it.  You are a remarkable instructor and it’s evident that you have a passion for photography.  All of those Nikon F skills that I had back in the 70’s have started to return. It’s all making sense again.  I learned so much about my new digital camera that I don’t have to be afraid to do something that will mess up the camera anymore. You’ve taken away the fear factor and given me the courage to go for it.  I will highly recommend you to all my photography friends.  I’m glad the people of Wilmington came through for you.  And remember,  we’re 20 miles closer than Philadelphia!! Thanks for everything.

Carol - Wilmington, DE

Most people think that by just spending a lot of money on a DSLR camera, it will magically take better photos than their point-and-shoot did.  The only problem is the operator is more important than the camera.  You can leave your camera on Auto or Program mode and take average photos (and every now and then, a great one), but to truly take consistently great photos, you need to take your camera off program mode!  Our workshops teach you how.
